My name is Zander, but my human friends call me Fang. For the past year I have been on a mission to fulfill my familial obligations to find a mate. As the son and heir of the great vampire King Kieran, it is my duty to continue our blood line. It's why I was created.
I have traveled the world searching for my one true mate. And finally I have found her. Nyla. Unfortunately, she only meets one of the requirements for mating that has existed among my blood line for thousands of years. She is human. My father told me that she is unsuitable to be a queen and that if I pursue her, she will be turned into a blood slave and forced to serve the coven. He should know better. I surpassed the skills he taught me long ago. His control over me is simply an indulgence. I could be the king now if I wanted to. So I will make a new tradition. Nyla will be my queen and nothing and no one will stop me.
